Our first step is to determine that we are able to act for you. The purpose of the intake form is to search for potential conflicts of interest to ensure that we may be able to act for you.

Once we have ruled out any conflicts, we will ask for some biographical or generic information to understand the nature of your dispute or reason for seeking legal advice. We do both of those things before you share any confidential information with our firm and before there can be any expectation of solicitor and client privilege being established.
